The Quarantine Of The Ostentatious
BBlessing is pleased to present a new installation created by artist/designer Daniel Jackson, continuing through September. The installation of funerary birdhouses investigates the full spectrum of the life cycle of a species. The empty, blackened vessels represent the final stage of the cycle, where a once decadent and ostentatious display has turned sour. The implied narrative, derived from the relics of the process, suggests the presence of plague, the shrouding and mourning of death, quarantine, and the evocative ambiance of absence.
On a lighter note, all Spring/Summer collections are now up to 60% off. New collections from Rag and Bone, Surface To Air and BBlessing will be arriving very soon!
