About BBlessing

Established in April 2006, BBlessing is a boutique dedicated to redefining the retail experience as it pertains to modern life. BBlessing features a unique, tightly edited selection of bleeding edge men's fashion, art, music, literature and film, all in a constantly evolving environment designed by Daniel Jackson, founding member of the renowned art collective Surface To Air.

Operating holistically within the boutique is the BBlessing gallery, which exhibits quarterly group and solo artist shows. BBlessing affords artists an opportunity to show work in an unconventional setting, reaching people that may not have the occasion to enjoy their work in a traditional gallery.

Opening January 10th, 2008, BBlessing presents Adolescence and the Virtues of Maturity., curated by Vincent Skeltis of Table Brothers and Daniel Jackson of BBlessing. Featuring new work by Danielle Levitt, Justine Parsons, Andrew H. Shirley, Vincent Skeltis, Daniel Jackson and Brendan Donnelly, this salon style exhibition both celebrates and defiles its subject matter through a variety of media.

Inspiration for the BBlessing design environment was born of a turn-of-the-century Parisian absinthe bar, transported to the Pacific Northwest by way of the Lower East Side. BBlessing aims to impart a sense of luxury, but with wit, in a whimsical and engaging fashion. The boutique features an array of both young and established menswear designers from New York, Japan and Europe including Raf Simons, Preen, Rag & Bone, Adam Kimmel, Giacometti, Patrik Ervell and Surface To Air as well as its signature BBlessing collection. In addition, BBlessing offers a tightly curated selection of film, music, literature and objets d'art.
